Speaking Course

Speaking Course

Our Speaking Course is designed to help students improve their English speaking skills for work or academic purposes. The course goes beyond just practicing speaking. It develops a range of skills that are essential for clear and effective communication.

Purpose of the Course

This course aims to improve your speaking skills while also developing your critical thinking and overall language abilities. Through in-depth discussions on a variety of topics, students engage in conversations that go beyond surface-level knowledge. In addition to speaking, the course focuses on pronunciation, everyday grammar, vocabulary development, active listening, and presentation skills, all of which are essential for students to communicate effectively and confidently in both professional and informal settings.

Teachers

The course is taught by native English speakers who have a deep understanding of the challenges students face when learning English. Learning with native speakers provides an immersive experience and encourages students to think and speak in English constantly, which helps them build fluency and confidence.

Teaching Platforms

Lessons are conducted online, primarily via Zoom, with teaching materials and exercises provided through the Cambridge platform.

Teaching Materials

For the Speaking Course, we use Cambridge’s American English textbook, Prism, and the Cambridge One learning platform. The platform includes a Digital Workbook designed with modern approaches.

The course methodology is based on Bloom’s Taxonomy, a framework for categorizing different levels of cognitive skills that students develop while learning. It is divided into six levels: Remember, Understand, Apply, Analyze, Evaluate, and Create, progressing from lower-order to higher-order thinking skills.

In this course, we ensure that students engage with all levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy. They start by remembering and understanding basic information and then move on to applying this knowledge in real-world contexts. As the course progresses, students will analyze complex ideas, evaluate information, and create new ideas or solutions. This progression helps students not only learn English but also think critically about the language and the content they are discussing.

Industry-Specific Content

Based on your company’s needs, the course can include terminology, case studies, role-plays, and practices specific to your field. Some of the most common industry-specific materials we can integrate include:

Homework

Unlike traditional assignments, it features interactive electronic exercises that students can complete anytime on their phone or laptop. After completing the exercises, the platform automatically provides correct answers and, in case of errors, highlights the material that needs review. Speaking tasks are also completed on the platform, and students receive feedback directly from their teacher.

The teacher has a real-time view of the students’ activities, including how much time they spend on the platform, how they finished the homework, what their results were, where they had difficulties, and where additional assistance is needed.

Progress Tracking and Reporting

Teachers provide the company with monthly individual progress reports for each student, along with detailed attendance records.

Certification

Employees who complete the course will receive official certificates of achievement, recognizing their progress and proficiency.
